Evaluate one’s olfactory capacities and acquire methods for scent memorisation A first step towards the trade as a “nose”

Proceedings

This animation is based on the universal evaluation questionnaire for a “good nose”: each participant takes a triangular test, an intensity test and a recognition test Corrections of the test are animated with stories about perfumes and raw materials

Program

• Test exercises with vials, individually or in groups
• Corrections and sharing experiences
• Illustrated with perfumes and details of the main raw materials

Logistics

This animation can be provided in lecture form for larger groups. Competitions for “best nose” can be organised, or for “best table of noses” if working in groups
