Training Program

You are considering a career change; you have completed a B.Sc. in chemistry or biochemistry; or you have recently joined the perfume industry. This course will familiarize you with the preparation work in the laboratory: organizing the work, calculating, diluting, and weighing. Exercises using real formulas allow you to work on the skills of the profession, quality, and traceability.
Organization of the work space, laboratory tools and personal equipment.
Specificities and handling of raw materials to preserve their organoleptic qualities.
Weighting of perfume formulas; usual methods of preparation, dilutions and heart compositions.
Preliminary calculations, from the simplest to the most complex, applied to real formulas.
Management and control of the raw material supply.
Comment se déroule la formation
The training includes 30% theoretical input and 70% practical work, including directed studies. Classes take place in the classroom and in the Cinquième Sens laboratory.

During the training. A course guide, formulas for concentration courses and exercises in applied mathematics for perfumery accompany the sessions.
After the training. You keep a pedagogical book.
