What You'll Learn
Upon completion of the training, you will be able to:
Building a personal olfactory repertoire by associating smells with images, sounds, references, and memories.
Describe a raw material by its family, its facets, its evocations, its tenacity and its intensity to communicate your observations accurately.
Identify raw materials combined into finished products containing more than ten olfactory notes.
Compare the olfactory quality of a raw material or finished product to a standard using the triangular test.

Raw material professionals, junior perfumer-creators, evaluators, junior sensory analysts, brand trainers, product managers and marketing teams, perfumery preparers, quality controllers and R&D engineers. The course is also aimed at professionals in the gastronomy, wine and coffee sectors: chefs, sommeliers, oenologists, master sommeliers, pastry chefs and baristas.

In the fields of perfume and gastronomy, recognizing and describing a scent requires reference materials. This course links the study of materials, the culture of perfume, chemistry, and quality control. You build your olfactory repertoire and develop your ability to identify, describe, and compare scents.
Expertise in the techniques of perfumery and the language of smells.
Study of the great classics of modern perfumery.
Introduction to the chemistry of perfumes.
Study of raw materials: herbaceous, aromatic, fruity, floral, woody, spicy, base notes and additional notes.
Control of the olfactory quality.

The course combines theoretical input, olfactory exercises and practical applications, depending on the modules followed. The organization and format of the sessions are specified in the schedule provided to the participant.
Ce qui est inclus
During training. Visual support and olfactory cues accompany the learning process.
After the training. You keep a pedagogical dossier that is not physically stored.
