A large international luxury group
Giving a new department the foundations of a perfume culture
Creating a perfume department within a large luxury group is not just about bringing together expertise. It requires building common ground: understanding the value chain, materials, creation, markets, stakeholders, and the words that will allow future decisions to be based on a genuine culture of the sector.
As they structured this new activity for several of their brands, a large international luxury group approached Cinquième Sens to prepare its executives and teams. The ambition was not to train perfumers, but to give decision-makers the necessary tools to engage with the perfume ecosystem and to launch their project with greater discernment.
Cinquième Sens has designed a course of several modules, in the form of half-days or full days, dedicated to the fundamentals of perfumery and the state of the market. The progression linked general culture, understanding of the professions, reading of trends and strategic issues specific to a luxury group.
This type of mission expresses the breadth of Institute’s vision. Training is not an end in itself; it prepares an organization to take a step forward. It creates a common language at a time when new responsibilities, new partners, and new decisions must be able to be articulated.
Cinquième Sens Institute acts here as a catalyst for culture: it provides leaders with the necessary tools to enter the world of perfume without reducing its complexity.
