Today, I propose an immersion into the cream of the cream in terms of perfume! Dior, Chanel, Guerlain: you most likely know these brands that are widely present in the selective circuit through their best-sellers such as J’Adore, Coco Mademoiselle or La Petite Robe Noire. But did you know that all these brands and many others have a more luxurious, more expensive but also more confidential collection? Cinquième Sens offers through the L’analyse des codes de la haute parfumerie training to discover these ranges that neither belong to niche perfume houses nor to mass-market perfume houses, with a theoretical… and of course practical discovery!
The program of this one-day module includes an introduction to the codes of haute perfumery through its marketing positioning and distribution strategy, and the discovery of nearly fifty fragrances that will allow you to experience the best of haute perfumery, whether through the most iconic scents such as Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino or the new ones like On the beach, the latest cologne from Louis Vuitton. It’s a dense program, but above all very lively: beyond the teaching delivered by the instructor, I appreciated the richness of the exchanges among the participants. Each training brings its share of perfume enthusiasts, often with very different profiles: some run private brands, others are in a career change, which allows for discovering new visions of perfume and perceiving perfume with a different perspective than their own.
Once again, Cinquième Sens does not fail to keep its promise of “awakening the emotions”, as the training is punctuated by sessions of blind olfaction. The greatest brands, through their collections of high-end perfumes, are keen to highlight the finest raw materials, and you will undoubtedly be as captivated as I was when I first smelled this beautiful damask note in Hermès’ Cuir d’ange, a fragrance that exudes an intimate atmosphere. You will also discover the Atelier des Fleurs line launched in 2019, which pays tribute to floral composition with vegetal and figurative creations such as the sparkling Herba Mimosa. And many more, such as the valuable Les Exclusifs de Chanel line, but also the most confidential Les Épures de Cartier!
Three good reasons to attend this training:
– to approach the high-end perfume segment in a holistic way in terms of marketing, distribution and, of course, scent
– know and feel the most iconic fragrances such as Bois d’argent by Dior
– discover the new products of high-end perfume brands such as the Fruit Collection by Dolce & Gabbana
