Created in 1976 by Monique Schlienger, Cinquième Sens celebrates its 45th anniversary. This year, the team unveiled the work of its perfumers around nine creations themed around freedom.
An expert in olfactory training, Cinquième Sens also creates perfumes for various niche or ambient brands thanks to a team of five perfumers. In the same way as Fashion Week, Isabelle FERRAND and her colleagues have conceived a Fragrance Week, named Liberty Week for this fifth edition:.
Sarah Burri, Camille Leguay, Alice Dattée, Veronika Rebeka Nagy and Isabelle Ferrand: each creator has presented her vision of freedom. In this time of Covid and also of societal changes, freedom is a strong theme, which is here adorned with feminism and ecology, with dreaming and emancipation.
Olfactory, the silent flowers coexist with masculine accords transformed into feminine ones, but also with new visions of freshness, transparency and sensuality. These creations, which can be seen as olfactory prototypes, may give rise to future perfumes for brands. They bear poetic and sensual names, such as Constellation , Wheat Flower , Peau de Feu or Alios.
The five creators worked with the Quadpack group on sustainable packaging, such as Sulapac, an alternative material to plastic that is biodegradable and made from wood.
The Cinquième Sens team proposes to rediscover the nine fragrances presented during Liberty Week by appointment.
